Traders ages 18 and up can earn a Funded Account® with Topstep®.
I'm Canadian, can I still earn a Funded Account®?
In short, yes we do offer prop trading for Canadian residents.
Many U.S. brokerage firms do not open Canadian accounts due to regulatory concerns. However, as a proprietary trader with us, you would be trading on a sub-account of a master account and therefore it would be considered a U.S.-based account.

Are there countries that cannot participate?
Traders who have citizenship in a country on OFAC's Sanctioned Countries list or cannot be provided an account from our brokerage partners are unfortunately not eligible to trade with Topstep. Additionally, there are other restrictions that prevent our brokerage partners from providing accounts.
Due to the current events involving Russia and Ukraine, traders from those countries are not able to receive funding from Topstep at this time.
